HappySignals
Softlandia helped HappySignals shape a clear AI-native roadmap to become the leading ITXM platform powered by AI.

Location: Finland

Industry: IT Experience Management (ITXM), Enterprise SaaS

Use case: Measuring, analyzing, and improving end-user IT experiences

Notable customers: Campari Group, Suntory, Wiley, Siemens Healtineers, Fujitsu

HappySignals is an IT Experience Management (ITXM) Platform that enables enterprise IT departments to measure, analyze, and improve end-user experiences across all IT touchpoints, make data-driven decisions, and create more value for their business users.

The platform quantifies employee happiness and productivity, provides continuous real-time feedback, and offers actionable insights to drive improvements in IT service delivery.

The Challenge

HappySignals aimed to become the leading AI-native ITXM platform, but its AI capabilities were still early-stage. While an initial AI feature had been built in-house, the team lacked the capacity to scale more advanced AI functionality. With focus on core product development, early experimentation did not evolve into a clear AI strategy—slowing differentiation and increasing competitive risk.

Key challenges included:

  • Early-stage AI capabilities despite strong AI-native ambitions
  • Limited in-house expertise to scale advanced AI development
  • No clear roadmap from individual AI features to a unified AI strategy

Delivery Approach

Softlandia partnered with HappySignals to define a clear, practical path toward advanced AI capabilities aligned with the existing SaaS platform.

The delivery included:

  • Assess & align: Reviewed the existing AI approach and facilitated a hands-on workshop with the executive and technical team to analyze dashboard data and identify pain points for the next AI feature.
  • Rapid Prototyping & PoCs: Our team built and demonstrated several working prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions showing what’s possible with modern AI. These full-stack experiments tackled real HappySignals data and business needs, giving immediate clarity on feasibility, user experience, and impact.
  • Define what to build next: Recommended a clear approach for upcoming AI features and prioritized high-impact opportunities based on product data and business value.
  • Design for scale: Advised on AI architecture and external AI tools, and supported management in shaping a long-term AI-native roadmap to enable sustainable growth.

Results

Following the work, HappySignals achieved:

  • A clear roadmap toward richer, AI-driven insights for end users, grounded in AI implementations with business data that de-risked technical decisions and accelerated buy-in.
  • Increased confidence in evolving from initial AI features to an AI-native product strategy.
  • A scalable AI architecture and tooling foundation to support future growth and innovation.

HappySignals’ challenge is common among SaaS companies with AI ambitions. Softlandia helps turn uncertainty into a clear, scalable AI strategy and implementation, so that teams can move forward with confidence.
